Rivelin Safety provides a range of specialist Occupational Hygiene and Health & Safety services based around the management of exposure risks, hazardous substance use, and critical control management.
Health risk assessments
Overall health risk assessments, or specific scenario health risk assessments. This is the first step in managing health risks and can determine if additional controls are needed or any exposure monitoring or health monitoring is justified.
Exposure monitoring and/or exposure risk modelling
Quantification of exposures to noise, dust, or air borne hazardous substance levels by physical measurement or modelling of exposure scenarios using international models.
Health effects training
Training workers to provide awareness of health risks and associated controls. Training can be in person, or on-line.
Hazardous substance compliance
Providing audits or advice around compliance with hazardous substance regulations and comparison to industry good practice.
Hazardous substance manager/user training
Training of workers around the use of hazardous substances. Training managers responsible for hazardous substance areas. Training can be in person, or on-line.
Critical risk/control management
Critical risk work from identification of risks, bow tie analysis, critical control management and assurance processes.
LEV assessments
Assessment of the effectiveness of local exhaust extraction systems
SafePlus assessments
Onsite SafePlus assessment process. Providing pragmatic advice for improving health and safety for an organisation, utilising the assessors experience across a wide range of industries.
Based in the Hawkes Bay, working from Wellington to Gisborne by road, and other parts of the Motu as required by air.
Rivelin Safety services can be provided remotely, or completed remotely after any required site visits.
